Drainage Canberra

Stormwater, sewer and civil drainage for the ACT.

SPS delivers the full drainage scope across Canberra — residential stormwater and sewer, blocked drain clearing, civil drainage for new developments, and no-dig pipe relining for aged or damaged lines.

We invest in the right kit: high-pressure jetters, CCTV cameras, drain sondes, in-house excavators and modern trenchless equipment. That's why our drainage jobs finish faster and cleaner.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between stormwater and sewer drainage?+

Stormwater carries surface and roof water to legal points of discharge — a stormwater main, kerb or watercourse. Sewer carries wastewater from fixtures to Icon Water's sewer main. They must not be cross-connected.

Do you handle both residential and civil drainage?+

Yes — we cover single-home drainage right through to Class 3 civil stormwater and sewer for developments.

Can you fix a drain without digging up the yard?+

Often yes — pipe relining installs a new epoxy pipe inside the old one via existing inspection points. See our pipe relining page.

How do I know if my house drain is damaged?+

Recurring blockages, wet patches over the drain line, gurgling toilets or slow-draining showers all suggest damage. A CCTV inspection gives a definitive answer.

Do you provide drainage reports for property sales?+

Yes — we provide CCTV drain survey reports for pre-purchase and pre-sale due diligence, with clear video and written recommendations.
